This cross-region e-KTP recording is provided to facilitate residents aged 16-17 years with different domicile from data in family card (KK)
South Jakarta Dukcapil Sub-agency Head, Abdul Haris stated, cross-region e-KTP recording service is provided to increase coverage of population documents ownership service. Based on data in January 2021, there were 31,898 residents aged 16-17 years. From that number, 12,483 residents have recorded their data for e-KTP. While the remaining 19,415 residents will record their data for e-KTP.
"This cross-region e-KTP recording is provided to facilitate residents aged 16-17 years with different domicile from data in family card (KK)," he said, Friday (6/18).
North Jakarta Opens E-KTP Recording Service for Residents Aged 16 Years and 6 MonthsThrough this innovation, residents aged 16-17 years who want to record their data for e-KTP don't have to do recording in urban village according their KK. But it can be done in region where they live (domicile). For example, child whose KK is issued from Tebet Timur Urban Village but his/her domicile in Duren Tiga Urban Village doesn't have to do recording in Tebet Timur Urban Village. But he/she can bring copy of KK and take e-KTP recording at Duren Tiga Urban Village.
This policy, he assessed, also applies for children aged 16-17 years who attend schools in South Jakarta whose KK is from outside Jakarta. In this case, e-KTP recording is not carried out at urban village office, but at Dukcapil Sub-agency Office.
"We have socialized this policy to schools in South Jakarta," he mentioned.
